The Holmer Green garage includes petrol pumps where you can only pay at the pump. In the background you can see the properties that replaced the old cottage on Pond Approach. There was a day when Sky TV used the garage to promote their Formula 1 coverage. Petrol was free and a F1 car was on view. Needless to say, it caused chaos and the police brought the event to an early close.
