After completing the walks "Around Reading" I contributed to the follow-up book, "Rambling for Pleasure Along the Thames". I enjoy photographing water, so this was an easy challenge for me. One of the highlights was Hambleden Mill, a Grade II listed building now converted into flats. I've learned that's it's best not to use a tripod if I want a closer view from the narrow walkway across the weir. Not only is a tripod there a possible obstruction, but while fumbling about with it I once contrived to lose a useful piece of equipment after it fell into the water below! September 2011
