Pendley chapel with the altar tomb of Sir Robert Whittingham (d. 1471 at the battle of Tewkesbury) and his lady. It was brought to Aldbury from nearby Ashridge in 1575 by Edmund Verney, who was later buried in the chapel with his wife Audrey.
