A decidedly static gypsy caravan in Watchet Lane. It was once called "Watshatch Lane" when it was the main highway from Great Missenden to High Wycombe. The term 'hatch' was commonly used in place-names to refer to an entrance or gate into land or property, in this instance exiting from woods directly onto the heath.
