This beautiful photograph is one that I would be happy to see hanging on my wall. I’m surprised I have not spotted it in the gallery before now. Chequers, of course, is a very well-known local landmark, but the area is not without its restrictions when it comes to photography. Standing over a tripod on Coombe Hill one morning I was very conscious of being watched both from the air and from the ground.
