I watched this family of Egyptian goslings grow up in another local park, Walpole Park in Ealing Broadway, from when they were tiny balls of fluff paddling frantically after their mother. Now they are adolescent, but still need a lot of sleep! Here they are snoozing beside the pond where I used to wheel my daughter over in her pushchair to feed the ducks fifty years ago, and ignoring the passing moorhen.

Damon Guy - Dimanĉo 31 Decembro 2023 16:21Fun shot. They are keeping their eye on you! The light is a bit flat here. Nevertheless, the viewer can see every detail in the plumage which is important. Wildlife shots really have to be fully detailed to be effective.
