This photo could have been taken almost anywhere in the country in 2022. Debenhams was founded in 1778 and in its heyday had 178 branches in towns and cities all over the country. It got into financial difficulties and was eventually taken over by a company who operate entirely on line, resulting in the loss of 12,000 jobs. The last store closed in May 2021 and buildings like this can be seen everywhere, facing an uncertain future.
