Formed in 1989, the aim of the Wendover Canal Trust (or Wendover Arm Trust as it was then called) is to restore the Arm to be fully navigable. A major obstacle was rebuilding Little Tring Bridge. Although constructed from reinforced concrete, the new bridge was designed with brick facing to offer a pleasing traditional appearance.
