South of the village, off the A5183 on Redbournbury Lane, is the beautiful Redbournbury Watermill on the River Ver. Now fully restored, it produces stone ground organic flours, mostly from locally grown grains. "The building is impossible to date as it has been altered frequently, but there is mention of a mill in the Domesday Book. It is well worth a visit, has an excellent website, and the flour makes superb bread," writes Alison Beck.
