Marsworth was the site of a Polish Hostel between 1948 and 1961, and was home to over 500 Polish people for 13 years. In October 2019 Marsworth Parish Council erected an excellent board telling the story, and including a map of the site. There are also some interesting stories and photographs on the village website.
