Edlesborough village sign features the 13th C church of St Mary’s, the half-timbered tithe barn with straw plaiters, and the ford with nearby mill. The Edlesborough Rose Brass, a 14th C village treasure is featured atop the sign and local Aylesbury prune fruit are shown to the side, being visited by the Duke of Burgundy butterfly, sadly now a somewhat rare local insect. 2013
