This interesting building, 27 George Street, bears the date of 1915 but parts of it are thought to be much earlier. In its time it has been occupied by a butcher, Boots the Chemist, Hepworth's tailors, and now an estate agent. There was a thriving fruit and veg market nearby in February 2020.
