The Wendover Canal is another of our regular walks. We start off near the school and walk to the tennis club at Halton Village (which offers good coffee!). It is great for seeing swans, ducks, geese, moorhens and coots. We have also seen a kingfisher, heron and an egret. It is at its most wonderful when the young chicks are on the water. A diversion to the Western Turville reservoir is also interesting for wildlife.
