We love gardens, particularly if they are walled, and we have watched with interest the developments within the Manor’s walled garden. It has become increasingly child-friendly with the inclusion of school gardens, interesting vegetables, scarecrows and the bug hotel. To grow the National Trust base families have to be encouraged so this is an important initiative, along with the Trust's willingness to encourage participation from local schools.
