I first discovered Moorend Common about a decade ago on a BBOWT walk. It is designated as an SSSI and as a marshy area with acid soil it is unusual in the Chilterns, especially in Buckinghamshire. The flora growing there reflects this, but there is still room for the more commonly found Herb Robert. June 2013
