Croxley Green became a separate entity from Rickmansworth in 1870, when it was decided to build All Saints’ church for about 1000 parishioners. The church was enlarged in 1907 when a quite unusual duplicate nave and chancel were built. Lord Ebury was one of the local landowners, and he presided over the building committee for the church. He is commemorated in Rickmansworth.
