The village church has an unusual dedication to St Botolph, a 7th century East Anglian abbot associated with protecting poor travellers. The church nave was originally c1100 and the west tower is c1420. The tower clock is c1620 and the lych gate, built by Ward and Turner of Speen, is a 1920 war memorial.
