The Old Post Office (no. 15) on the left and no. 16. Early 16C 3-bay timber framed house was partly open to the roof with brick cladding added (17C?). The end bays were rebuilt in flint with brick quoins in mid-18C. The west end was added in the 1930s as a shop/post office. Note timber frame in eastern gable end; the blackening shows the position of an old chimney stack.
