The Grade I listed village church is built in the perpendicular style and dedicated to St Giles of Provence, patron saint of cripples. It was built in the 12thC as a chapel of ease when Dunstable Priory became too small to hold the congregation. There were late medieval alterations in the 14th-16th centuries.
