A figurehead of Admiral Earl Howe in a front garden at The Lee. It comes from the Howe ship, later renamed HMS Impregnable, which was the last wooden warship built for the Royal Navy. The ship was broken up in the 1920s and a lot of its timbers were used to build Liberty's store in Regent Street. So, given the connection between Arthur Lasenby Liberty and The Lee, it is no surprise that the figurehead ended up here.
