15th century Thatcher’s Cottage is one of the oldest buildings in Studham. Oak-beamed, it was once home to the actress Jean Marsh of TV’s Upstairs Downstairs fame. A yellow Robinia pseudoacacia sapling, which can reach fifty feet, stands close by.
