We are approaching Sarratt from Belsize and this is the north end of The Green. The pub was called The Wheatsheaf and the house is The Old Wheatsheaf. The row of cottages used to house some of the village craftsmen including a brushmaker. In front of the cottages is one of four iron benches paid for by the villagers as a memorial after World War I.
