The entrance to Green Park, now owned by Bucks County Council and leased to an activity company. The site is listed as Estone Manor in the Domesday Book, when it was held by a retainer of Edward the Confessor. It then became Howard Park, and was owned by the Lake family who claimed descent from Sir Lancelot of Round Table fame. In 1851 it was bought by Anthony de Rothschild, but the house was sadly demolished in 1964.
