I love old churches for their wonderful artwork and their often continuous visual links all the way back to the Middle Ages. This beautiful 13th century stone carving is on the porch of St Lawrence’s church at Cholesbury. I suggested that the PhotoGroup should publish a special collection of their wonderful church photos and was thrilled when this was taken up.
