The Grade II listed Bell Inn on the High Street is owned by Greene King, but was to-let in August 2022. It was built in the 17th century or earlier with 18th century alterations, and claims to have the oldest surviving licence. Along with the original Rose & Crown, which was of similar date, it was a staging point for Royal Mail and passenger coaches.
